Kristina Plecas joined BPSD in January 2023 as a Senior Tax Accountant. Currently, she provides a variety of tax and accounting services for her clients in entertainment, professional services, real estate and several other industries. Kristina proactively works with business and individual clients to determine the tax consequences of potential transactions and keeps them informed of tax law changes and tax-savings opportunities. She adds value to client relationships by educating them and presenting information in useful and understandable ways.

Prior to joining BPSD, Kristina was a Senior Staff accountant at SVA, CPAs in Milwaukee, WI. There she provided accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in the medical, dental, veterinary and real estate industries. She pursued her master’s in accounting while working in the private sector at Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce as an Accounting Manager. There she oversaw financial reporting and provided accounting support to the CFO directly.
Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kristina moved to the Chicago area in 2012, so that she could pursue her bachelor’s degree at Lake Forest College. Kristina is college sweethearts with her husband and together with their daughter, they love to spend time in nature.
