Monica Cabrera joined BPSD in May 2000 as an office admin/assistant in the business management department, and within a few months received her first promotion to Business Manager. Now, as Senior Business Manager, Monica handles the daily needs of multiple clients. She also provides bookkeeping support for the accounting staff and assists the partners with many internal procedures, as well as trains new incoming Business Managers.
Monica attributes her personal success and long-term contribution to the growth of BPSD to her commitment to hard work, strong leadership skills and attention to detail. Inspired by her mother, who was a bookkeeper/accountant, Monica is currently working toward a BS degree in Accountancy.
In her spare time, Monica volunteers with Food on Foot, and enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, dogs, artistic endeavors and being with her young daughter, Andrea – “she is my world.”
